The Project Managers will:
- Lead the development and implementation of the enterprise-level/key strategic project management initiatives from Initiation through Closure.
- Build out a schedule that addresses all key project areas (tasks resources dependencies estimates) while challenging common assumptions to deliver quality on time within budget and within scope.
- Able to identify when adjustments are needed to a projects triple constraints (scope cost time) regardless of the PM methodology (Waterfall Agile Hybrid) deployed.
- Identify risk/risks mitigation plan(s) and capture issues/plan drive all necessary follow-through to minimize risks and remove blockers.
- Leverage project documentation and lessons learned for future efforts.
- Provide thought leadership and advance the project management profession while continuing to grow in the knowledge of project management methodologies and leading practices.
- Develop and coach project team members so they understand what they are accountable for delivering and feel empowered to make the necessary decisions to deliver; provide adequate direction and support.
- Engage business stakeholders to apply PM principles to achieve their objectives and business drivers.
- Leverage organizational dynamics to influence outcomes through leadership and communication skills.
- Engage appropriate stakeholders in risk identification and mitigation strategies.
Requirements:
- Must have 7 years of experience of diverse and/or large enterprise work experience in IT project management (scheduling managing leading and delivering projects from inception to close; demonstrated ability to identify and motivate resources with the right skillset to deliver the project scope)
- Provide strategic guidance to the team identifying opportunities to improve and innovate.
- Apply project management best practices and methodologies ensuring that the project team is following established standards.
- Participate in project governance and oversight activities including a persistent focus on RAIDD items to ensure projects are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that projects are integrated and aligned with overall business strategies
- 3years prior experience in large scale environments focusing on the Application space such as (MS Dynamics OpenText Cognos Hyperion IBM Applications Timekeeping/Attendance apps etc.)
- Maintaining applications Supporting applications implementing new versions and modernization of applications
- Demonstrated applied experience establishing and delivering complex projects
- Deep understanding and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools
- Experienced in working with partners/vendors to lead their expectations and engaging them to address project issues
- Proven ability to manage projects in Waterfall Agile and Hybrid methodologies
- Organizational Change Management mindset and experience building stakeholder and communication plans
- Must be well versed and understand PMP principles and fundamentals.
Desired Experience:
- Lean Six Sigma Certification is desired but not required
The base range for this contract position is $60.00 - $70.00 per hour depending on experience; pay ranges are determined by role level and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills experience and relevant education or training.
