The NC Department of Administration is the business manager for North Carolina state government. The department oversees Government Operations such as building construction purchasing and contracting for goods and services maintaining facilities managing state vehicles acquiring and disposing of real property and operating auxiliary services such as courier mail delivery and the sale of state and federal surplus property. Additionally the department manages many of the states advocacy programs that provide assistance and services to diverse segments of the states population that have been traditionally underserved.

Division: NC Guardian ad Litem
Job Duties: This internship offers students a hands-on opportunity to support the development of impactful training programs for the NC Guardian ad Litem Program. Interns will help create trauma-informed synchronous and asynchronous training content for staff and volunteers while gaining insight into the programs statewide operations.
Major Task to be Performed: Key responsibilities include developing training materials supporting virtual and in-person training logistics organizing digital resources and contributing to the design of a new pre-service volunteer training. Interns will also review stakeholder feedback and assist with managing project timelines to ensure timely delivery of training deliverables.
Final Product or Outcome Anticipated:
By the end of the internship students will have contributed to finalized training modules resource guides and evaluation summaries while gaining real-world experience in instructional design project coordination and public service.
Academic Majors Desired: Adult Education Instructional Design Digital Media Production Library and Information Science and Public Health (trauma-informed focus)

Strong communication and writing abilities
