About the role

  • Lead the planning execution and delivery of Heart Lung clinical research projects ensuring alignment with organisational priorities strategic goals and agreed timelines.

  • Manage research funding applications and grants including coordination of collaborators preparation of documentation and oversight of funding requirements across the project lifecycle.

  • Ensure all research activities comply with ethics governance and regulatory requirements including ICH-GCP standards Australian legislation privacy laws and hospital policies.

  • Coordinate and support multidisciplinary clinical academic and operational teams to ensure the safe ethical and effective conduct of clinical studies and trials.

  • Oversee project progress budgets risks and data collection and support analysis and dissemination of research outcomes through publications presentations and stakeholder engagement.

About you

  • Relevant postgraduate qualification and/or equivalent experience in clinical research project management.

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex clinical research projects across the full project lifecycle.

  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills including experience preparing research reports and publications.

  • Strong understanding of ethics governance and regulatory compliance in health and medical research.

  • Proven experience engaging stakeholders across clinical academic and organisational settings.

  • Experience in research budgeting financial management data analysis and use of project management and Microsoft Office tools.
