About the Role
As a Finance Operations Specialist you will manage day-to-day finance activities including AP/AR reconciliations payments and cash flow. You will ensure accurate transaction recording compliance with internal controls and support system improvements (ERP reporting automation).
Key Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities are executing and monitoring recurring finance operations:
- Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
- Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Payment processing collections and operational cash flow management
- Ensure accurate recording and classification of financial transactions
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures controls and deadlines
- Identify inefficiencies and propose improvements to finance processes
- Support the implementation and optimization of financial systems (ERP reporting automation tools)
- Liaise with internal stakeholders suppliers customers and external auditors when required
What Were Looking For
The ideal profile:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Management Economics or related fields
- 35 years of experience in Finance Operations Accounting Operations or similar roles
- Strong knowledge of: general accounting principles AP/AR processes and cash management
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle NetSuite Sage Primavera Dynamics)
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas pivot tables Power Query)
- Knowledge of tax and compliance requirements (nice to have)
- High attention to detail and accuracy analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong ownership mindset and sense of accountability
- Continuous improvement and efficiency-driven mindset
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
- Proactive autonomous and hands-on
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
- Team-oriented and collaborative
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English
