Job Summary

The Senior Project Manager plays a critical role in overseeing technology programs and projects within the DT Business System Technology department for a Randstad client in Washington DC. This role is responsible for tracking and reporting across various large-scale cross-functional projects ensuring they stay on schedule and within budget. Working closely with multiple Agile teams matrixed stakeholders and external vendors the Senior Project Manager applies project management best practices (including SAFe and PLMP methodologies) and utilizes key tools such as EPPM SharePoint TEAMS and Atlassian products like JIRA and Confluence to maintain project alignment and control.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with technical leads and project team members for project reporting.
Develop and maintain project documentation in alignment with FRA PLMP and SAFe guidelines.
Generate weekly program status reports.
Lead project status meetings and relevant discussions.
Track budget issues risks and schedules using Masterworks EPPM.
Monitor and report on schedule and budget variances.
Create and manage SharePoint and TEAMS sites for individual projects.
Maintain and report on project schedules baselines and estimates.
Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
Document and report project issues and changes using standardized processes.
Draft Statements of Work (SOW) for RFPs and support vendor response evaluations.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Project Management Accounting Business Administration Finance Economics Computer Science Information Systems or equivalent experience.
Strong analytical and communication skills with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite and project management tools like EPPM and JIRA.
