The Contracts Analyst will independently perform comprehensive review drafting and negotiating of complex supplier contracts. May prepare and review complex requests for proposals and service agreements or contracts including Software License Agreements Professional Services Agreements Website Design and Hosting Agreements Digitization Agreements Equipment Purchase Agreements and other types of agreements and contracts. Partners with Harvard clients and subject matter experts to review and negotiate contracting provisions and to ensure compliance with university policies and applicable laws and regulations

- Additional Job Details : HBS HR has indicated it is the equivalent of a grade 56 non-exempt role we are aware that it would need to be a LHT to work longer than 90 days (14hours/week). We think someone who has a background in detail and document-oriented work would be successful like a paralegal grant administrator technical writer etc. -Serve as the primary point of contact on Open Enrollment contracts for ExEd staff -Review standard agreements engaging support from Strategic Procurement attorneys regarding any new legal terms -Assign complex agreements to Strategic Procurement attorneys and shepherd the agreements through the legal review process; provide updates to ExEd staff throughout the process coordinating with them on any necessary changes -Stay up to date on changes to Harvard s contract templates -Help ExEd negotiate better contract terms especially with service providers we engage on a regular basis -Orient new staff (e.g. program delivery managers portfolio directors) on the contract review process -Identify and implement improvements to the current process -Serve as the primary point of contact on OE contracts for HBS Finance
