Part-Time Janitorial and Maintenance Position (2030 hours per week)
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual for a Part-Time Janitorial and Maintenance role focused on maintaining cleanliness and functionality within our office.
This role involves facility duties such as running the dishwasher assisting with lunch clean-up maintaining clean restrooms identifying nonfunctional equipment and ensuring essential supplies are stocked in common areas including restrooms.
Additional duties include assembly moving and lifting of office equipment supplies and furniture.
Key Responsibilities
Dishwasher & Kitchen Maintenance
- Operate and unload the dishwasher daily to ensure kitchen supplies are ready for use
- Clean and organize kitchen and break areas after lunches and meetings
General Office Clean-Up
- Assist in tidying up conference rooms and shared spaces
- Regularly clean and sanitize common areas to maintain a welcoming environment
Restroom Supplies and Maintenance
- Check restroom supplies: ensuring items like soap paper towels and toilet paper are stocked
- Report any maintenance needs to management promptly
Additional Facilities Support
- Assist with basic tasks as assigned such as setting up for office events moving items and handling recycling/trash disposal
- Assembly of furniture and equipment
- Lifting and moving furniture and equipment (up to 75lbs) Requirements
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Dependable and able to manage time effectively
- Punctual and professional attire
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting items standing and walking
- Positive attitude and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized office environment
Additional Information :
Hours & Compensation This is a part-time position approximately 2030 hours per week
Schedule flexibility can be discussed based on candidate availability and office needs $19 per hour on W2 (no benefits) Added HOC events in office may require late evenings or early morning hours so flexibility is required
