About the role
In this role you will:
- Establish and develop Thiess Indonesias market position and achieve sustainable financial growth.
- Research and develop project opportunities and ultimately convert these into new projects.
- Develop long term strategic relationships with key clients identify business opportunities negotiate and close business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
- Identify new prospects that are aligned to the business strategy and develop key strategies to secure/win new work.
- Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of key market dynamics client businesses and industry.
- Lead assigned prospects through the business development phase including development of relationships with key clients and industry partners development of project capture and client engagement plans.
- Actively manage client relationships to position Thiess with key market and network contacts to foster recommend and refer work.
- Build recognition amongst employees that a principle driven community and environment practices are essential for a sustainable business.
- Ensure agreed financial indicators and production KPIs are in place and are monitored at least monthly.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements and all relevant company business standards processes and Thiess policies including but not limited to the Code of Conduct.
About you
- Degree in Engineering or Commercial / Business (Desirable)
- Desirable minimum 10 years in Indonesia mining industry
- Proven experience in business development tendering project management and project delivery
- Previous business development and commercial experience
- Leadership Program Management and management of multiple prospects
- Entrepreneurship and market knowledge
- Client/Third Party relationship management in the region
- Previous international/cross cultural assignments
