The Arlington Agricultural Research Station supports almost all disciplines in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences. This position is responsible for all aspects of agricultural field operations which include: tillage planting and harvest fertilization and manure handling related to the crop and livestock operations on the Station. This position is primarily responsible for application of crop protection products to crop research and cropland used for feed for livestock. This position is also responsible for operating tandem axle trucks and other equipment related to the transportation of equipment materials and supplies for the Station and College. This position shall observe all applicable AAALAC Standards (international animal use and care guidelines) and safety standards.
Operates vehicles over 26000 lbs. to deliver and receive freight and inspects loads and unloads materials to ensure safe and efficient transport.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00. However final salary will depend on experience and qualifications. Experience with using trucks to transport equipment materials supplies or livestock. Experience operating and maintaining agricultural field crop sprayers and pesticide mixing/loading equipment.
