Role Summary/Purpose Internal The Manufacturing CMM Operator demonstrates leadership in communicating developing and executing program schedules process developments and analysis in various organizational settings regarding internal and external business this role you will utilize your experience and expertise to solve problems develop & execute objectives & can meet company objectives within the time lines specifically related to your assigned projects. This position is scheduled for off shift support working afternoons/ nights for three 12 hr days.
Essential Responsibilities
Provide support to the manufacturing team to conduct CMM inspections per scheduled activities.
Measure and convey results using standard metrology applications and units.
Document and communicate the results of problem solutions and conduct analytical examinations to both internal and external customers.
Advocate the usage of quality improvement and control tools.
Update and develop quality documents where required per client and industrial standards.
Qualifications/Requirements
B.S in Engineering or Technical Practice.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering or quality related position.
Experience with AIAG processes.
Knowledge of Statistical Process Control Techniques.
Experience in the development and execution of standard operating procedure documents.
Proficient in Microsoft Applications word excel ect..
Knowledge of GD&T standards and implementation.
Experience with DOE Matrix development.
PC proficiency with Minitab Excel
Experience with various measurement techniques and Metrology tools.
Operate Carl Zeiss CMM system and develop code related to component geometry.
Desired Characteristics
Strong oral and written communication skills
CMM operations. PCDemis Carl Zeiss equipment.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Capability to work in teams
Six Sigma Green Belt Certified.
ASQ certification
APQP experience
ISO9001 AS9100 ISO13485 QS9000 experience
Qualification:
Engineering Degree or Equivalent Technical degree.
