We are looking to recruit a post-doctoral researcher to develop and utilize cell based CRISPR screens to investigate DNA repair genes. The project straddles fundamental research with immediate applications in biotechnology. The project is funded by the Research Foundation- Flanders (FWO).
Responsibilities
Candidates must have a PhD in (Plant) Biotechnology Molecular Biology Biochemistry or equivalent ability to critically discuss and present scientific results and proficiency in English for oral and written communications. Experience with genome editing bioinformatics (e.g. python linux) and high-throughput approaches are desirable but not required.
