Job Title: HR Manager
Salary/Grade: 53288 - 70000 per annum (depending on experience)
Location: Larne
Benefits:
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
Up to 18% bonus
Car allowance - 500pcm
Contributory pension scheme - Caterpillar will double the employees contribution up to 6%
Contributory share scheme - Caterpillar will match 50% of the employees contribution.

This position requires a 4.5-day-a-week schedule in the office.

The opportunity
Are you an experienced HR professional who has the desire to lead an experienced team of HR Partners and Generalists Are you looking to take your career to the next level by driving success through our values of Safety Integrity Teamwork Excellence and Commitment You could have that opportunity to achieve that at our facility in Larne Northern Ireland. This role fits within Caterpillars Electric Power Division (EPD).
In this role you play an integral role leading and implementing HR strategies aligned with our business objectives providing guidance on HR policies and practices and foster a culture of employee engagement and development.
What you will do:
Collaborate with management as a strategic advisor helping identify and prioritize HR initiatives that align with the organizations strategic goals and objectives.
Align HR policies and programs for their business unit or region which promote employee engagement retention and performance.
Act as a trusted coach providing guidance to leaders and managers on HR-related matters including performance management compensation and benefits etc.
Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends and opportunities and develop a story to provide data-driven recommendations to senior management.
Lead a team of HR professionals to collaborate effectively with other Centers of Excellence and serve as thought leaders to the business and HR.

Knowledge of leadership practices and processes with the ability to develop HR strategies that engage others in setting embracing and achieving organizational objectives.

Demonstrated ability to guide others on employee relations functionsincluding grievances performance issues and disciplinary actionsand to evaluate and update related practices.
Knowledge of union practices and principles
Talent Management:
Demonstrated knowledge of how an organization attracts recruits retains identifies and develops talent to meet short- and long-term business goals.
Ability to coordinate reward and recognition programs designed to retain high-performing and high-potential employees.
Experience assessing organizational competencies analyzing talent development needs and maintaining visibility to high-potential employees.

University Degree preferred
Knowledgeor experience with internal communications
