Job Summary

Production Support Manager (temporary position until 31 January 2027)

Maintenance Production is a part ofSAS Operations which includesEASA Part 145 and EASA Part Production delivers aircraft according toSAS standards and in accordance with SAS priorities: Safety Punctualitiy and Care.

As Production Support Manager you will be responsible for daily operational task to support the maintenance production team. You will report directly to theProduction Manager and be a part of the local management team. This role willmanage projects provide support for the production and take on stand-in duties in vacation periods.

This is a temporary position (fixed-term contract) until 31 January 2027.

The role is interesting and full of variation. There are several opportunities for development using LEAN and close collaboration with stakeholders within SAS including SAS OCC/MO-C.

Contact with our customers will be an important part of your daily work so having good communication skills being service minded and flexible are also important attributes.

Main tasks

  • Work according to Safety first
  • Coordinate maintenance production
  • Deputy for Production Managerduring vacation
  • Responsible for continuous improvement inthe development of LEAN production techniques.
  • Work with KPIs Info Center and TIP in daily LEAN work.
  • Develop and manage the teammembers.
  • Build LEAN knowledge in production.
  • Perform assessment of personal

Education and experience

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within aircraft maintenance
  • Experience in developing others and team management
  • Desirable experience within one or several aircraft types operated by SAS.
  • Desirable experience working with AMOS maintenance management system
  • Additional education within leadership are desirable.
  • Knowledge or LEAN certification is an advantage

This is a temporary position (fixed-term contract) until 31 January 2027.

The position of Production Support Manager requires security clearance so you will be required to complete a security interview background checks as well as alcohol and drug testing.
