We are partnering with a global highly regarded organisation within the life sciences sector to recruit an experienced HR Data Analyst for an initial 3-month contract commencing ASAP. This role has been created to support an increased workload and to resolve data accuracy issues within Workday.
This is a hands-on detail-driven role ideal for an HR professional with strong systems payroll and data analysis expertise.
Reporting to the Senior Director Global HRBP Operations you will work closely with Industrial Relations Payroll and HR Business Partners to review analyse and validate HR and payroll data across multiple systems.
You will not be a decision-maker; instead your focus will be on analysing data validating information with stakeholders and seeking appropriate approvals prior to system updates.
Key responsibilities include:
Reviewing HR and payroll data in Workday and cross-referencing against other data sources
Validating dates allowances contracts and historical employee information
Applying payroll rules and Enterprise Agreement (EA) requirements to calculations
Reviewing employment contracts and historical records for accuracy
Working collaboratively with Payroll IR and HR teams to ensure compliance
Supporting system updates by providing accurate validated data
Producing reports and insights using advanced Excel skills
Managing a heavy data workload with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
To be successful you will bring a strong HR foundation combined with excellent analytical and system skills.
Essential experience:
Solid HR experience with a strong data systems and payroll process focus
Experience working with HR Information Systems (Workday essential)
Understanding of Enterprise Agreements and payroll-related legislation
Knowledge of tax and legislative requirements impacting payroll
Strong understanding of HR policies procedures and employment contracts
Advanced Excel skills
Excellent analytical ability and exceptional attention to detail
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
