Shift: Day Shift 7:00 AM 5:30 PM
Hours: 10 hours/day
Days: 4 days/week
Total: 40 hours/week
Pay Rate: $45 $50 per hour
Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Certified Surgical Technicianfor an exciting job in New York NY.
Key Responsibilities
Escort patients and prepare them for surgical procedures
Review medical records to ensure documentation and lab results are complete
Provide continuous four-handed chair-side assistance during procedures
Prepare and maintain sterile instruments trays and equipment
Clean and disinfect all work areas prior to and after procedures
Monitor patient vitals and assist with suctioning instruments and medications
Take radiographs as requested
Restock supplies and manage surgical inventory
Properly dispose of medical waste and break down operatory post-procedure
Respond effectively to emergencies as needed
Requirements
Certified Surgical Technician (CST) or Dental Assistant Certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Minimum 2 years of recent CST experience required
3 years of experience preferred (5 years a plus)
Associates Degree
Strong written and verbal communication skills
