Digital Consultants is seeking an Operations Project Manager to join its corporate operations team. The Operations Project Manager will manage multiple programs and support business development activities. This role requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage change in a highly competitive market. The ideal candidate will possess initiative high energy excellent people skills and be an effective leader with a track record of successfully managing people and projects.
Location: San Antonio TX - The position is hybrid with remote work as assigned and frequent commutes to project locations as needed.
Reports To: Senior Vice President of Operations
Position Duties
- Supervise multiple domestic and global projects these contracts will depend on the PMs location.
- Responsible for their day-to-day activities the quality of their teams work and for customer satisfaction.
- Lead quality assurance standards and manage project deliverables.
- Manage the integration of vendor tasks and tracking/reviewing vendor deliverables.
- Perform root cause analysis and develop practical solutions for customer issues and concerns in coordination with project teams and team leaders.
- Prepare and deliver briefings and presentations to various stakeholders.
- Develop and manage project plans.
- Review task performance and work products for correctness adherence to design concepts and user requirements and progress per schedule.
- Coordinate with the Vendor PM COTRs and government user representatives to ensure accurate solutions and user satisfaction on technical matters.
- Provide support to corporate business development activities including managing indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicles.
- Use business intelligence to provide customer and business knowledge and ensure the team fully understands customer desires needs and competitor capabilities.
- Review government solicitations identifying all requirements and criteria for evaluation and assisting with creating solutions.
- Participate in kickoff meetings status updates data calls and color reviews as required.
- Write and/or edit proposal sections to support proposal and business development efforts.
Requirements
- 5 years of relevant experience managing IT projects and/or experience in government contracting (service contracts).
- DoD active-duty experience or professional experience in a customer-facing role with DoD personnel.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Bachelors Degree in a related field and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Up to 10-20% travel (primarily local with occasional domestic overnight travel).
- Valid drivers license and good driving record.
- Physical Requirements: The candidate must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation. The position requires the frequent use of personal computer equipment including extended use of computer screens. This position will support some AV projects and may require occasional lifting of objects up to 50 lbs. ladder usage or working with power tools to develop implement or evaluate project deliverables or requirements.
