Job Summary
Physical Education Teacher -Papillion La Vista South High School
2026-27 School Year
Description: As a Physical Education Teacher you will guide students in developing the knowledge skills and attitudes necessary to make informed choices about their personal this role you will help students build a strong foundation in understanding the importance of balanced nutrition regular exercise and positive recreational activities. By designing engaging lessons fostering teamwork and encouraging perseverance you will support students in building confidence resilience and lifelong healthy habits. Your instruction will promote not only physical development but also social emotional and cognitive growthempowering students to apply these skills both in and beyond the classroom.
Additionally you will remain current in your field through ongoing professional growth and collaboration communicate regularly with parents and staff and contribute to building- and district-level meetings. Dependable attendance supervisory responsibilities and other assigned duties are also key components of this position.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors Degree in Education
- Certification: Holds or is eligible for a Nebraska Teachers Certificate
- Experience: Successful completion of student teaching
