Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Social Media Intern to join our Social Media team. This role is designed for a student currently enrolled in marketing or related field. This role provides the student with a unique opportunity to develop practical marketing skills while supporting the marketing and social media team.
Responsibilities
- Executing data-driven marketing campaigns in line with the promotional schedule across all social platforms.
- Developing and executing national brand content in line with strategy
- Designing and delivering localsocialtraining programs and adaptable content examples for local stores
- Assisting in managingsocialmedia accounts including content scheduling and engagement monitoring
- Contributing to the development of creative assets; ensuring all content both national and local adheres to brand guidelines
- Analyzing content performance and optimizing strategies based on data
- Maintaining proactive communication and collaboration with the team
Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Currently pursuing a degree/diploma in marketing or a related field
- Strong knowledge of social/digital marketing strategies
- Experience with Meta Ads Manager and Meta Business platform
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft office (especially Excel)
- Creative individual with an analytical and administrative skill set
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $18-20 per hour; skill set and experience will be taken into consideration for total renumeration of role.
