Job Summary
The Network Administrator ensures the stable operation of the Company networks and systems. This includes installing configuring maintaining and optimizing all Network Hardware Servers Software VPNs and Endpoints.
The person will also analyze and resolve end-user hardware and software computer problems in compliance with established support services SLAs act as a point of escalation for all support issues and provide end-user training where required.
The person will work collaboratively with the IT Manager to implement the designed Corporate Infrastructure.
Responsibilities and Duties
IT Support Services
- Manages IT support ticketing system and staff
- Acts as Tier 3 escalation point for higher level support functions
- Performs Root Cause Analysis of technical issues
- Develops documentation and other guidance for end users
- Maintains up-to-date configurations of all End User Computer (EUC) Gold Images
Network and Systems Administration
- Manages and maintains networks including LANs internet systems and network equipment
- Supports systems that ensure networks are secure efficient and available
- Assists in the set up and configuration of networks
- Monitors network performance and reports findings to IT Manager for analysis
- Troubleshoots network issues and escalates when necessary
- Participates in implementation of security measures
- Manages computer systems including servers workstations and other computing equipment
- Installs configures and maintains software and hardware
- Performs patch management and CVE Remediations as directed by IT Manager
- Administers M365 package
- Coordinates new user set up in the system

Experience and Education
- Bachelors degree in computer science or similar preferred
- 5 Years Experience in network administration required
- Hands-on experience and proficiency in these areas preferred:
- Routing and Switching
- Firewalls (NG and HBSS)
- 802.1x
- Windows Server 2022 STD
- Active Directory
- M365 and Azure Services
- Wireless Standards and Protocols
- Ubiquiti Networks
- Desktop Support
- High school diploma/GED required
- Any combination of the following: A Network or Security required
- Three years of experience actively supporting a distributed enterprise network required
- Two years of experience actively supporting users in an M365 environment required
- Two years of experience actively supporting Windows desktops and servers required
- Two years of experience actively working in an active directory environment required
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to work in an indoor office environment
- Must be able to ascend and descend ladders stairs and work in confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment
- Must be able to traverse irregular and steep terrain
- Must be able to lift and carry 25lbs regularly and 50lbs occasionally
- Must be able to work for 8 hours of time in front of a computer or while standing
