Working Hours: Full-TimeMon-Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm EST
Salary: Latin America South Africa: $2500 to $4000 (depending on exp and clients final offer)

About the Role

We are seeking an Operations Manager to act as the operational backbone across the portfolio.

This role is responsible for turning intent into execution. You will own operational clarity ensure processes are documented and followed identify friction points and drive continuous improvement across teams and companies. You will work closely with leadership managers and frontline staff to ensure nothing critical falls through the cracks.

This is not a passive or advisory role. The Operations Manager is expected to own outcomes surface issues early and bring order to complex multi-entity workflows.

The ideal candidate is highly organized calm under pressure comfortable enforcing standards and confident communicating across technical administrative and leadership teams.

Core Responsibilities

Operational Oversight & Execution

  • Oversee day-to-day operational health across the companys portfolio companies
  • Ensure critical workflows are executed consistently and on time
  • Identify operational bottlenecks breakdowns and risks before they escalate
  • Translate leadership direction into actionable plans and follow-through

Process SOPs & Documentation

  • Own the creation maintenance and enforcement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Ensure SOPs reflect real-world execution not theory
  • Audit adherence to documented processes and address gaps
  • Drive continuous improvement through regular process reviews

Cross-Team Coordination

  • Serve as the coordination point between leadership operations customer experience technical and administrative teams
  • Ensure clear handoffs between roles and departments
  • Facilitate internal communication so priorities deadlines and expectations are understood
  • Reduce ambiguity by clarifying ownership and next steps

Performance & Accountability

  • Track operational KPIs and team-level metrics
  • Hold teams accountable to timelines quality standards and commitments
  • Identify performance issues and recommend corrective actions
  • Support managers and team leads with structure reporting and follow-up

Tools Systems & Workflow Management

  • Oversee the effective use of internal tools (task management documentation communication platforms)
  • Ensure workflows are documented repeatable and scalable
  • Identify opportunities to automate or streamline manual processes
  • Partner with leadership on tooling decisions and system improvements

Leadership Support & Special Projects

  • Act as a trusted operational partner to the Founder and leadership team
  • Manage cross-company initiatives and special projects
  • Prepare operational summaries status updates and risk assessments
  • Step in to stabilize operations during periods of transition or growth

Required Qualifications

  • 36 years of experience in operations business management or process leadership roles
  • Proven ability to manage complex workflows across multiple teams or business units
  • Strong experience building documenting and enforcing SOPs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to see both the big picture and the details
  • Comfortable holding people accountable in a professional respectful manner
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Reliable remote work setup with consistent availability
  • Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft 365 Teams SharePoint task/project management systems and documentation platforms

Preferred (Nice to Have)

  • Experience working in a holding company or multi-entity environment
  • Exposure to MSP IT services cybersecurity healthcare/wellness or property management operations
  • Experience supporting leadership during scaling or organizational change
