Job Summary
The University of Chicagos Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking full-time faculty members at any rank to join our team in the Section of Complex Family will provide complex abortion care and gynecologic care at our Hyde Park Campus and Ingalls Hospital. There will also be opportunities to attend the inpatient gynecology serviceor work on labor and duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students and scholarly activity. Academic rank and compensation are dependent upon qualifications.

Appointees will join a vibrant community within UChicago Medicine the Biological Sciences Division the Pritzker School of Medicine and the University of Chicago and its Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Section of Complex Family Planning foster a culture of support through mentorship and multidisciplinary of expertise within the section include Complex Family Planning including contraception abortion and early pregnancy management as well as minimallyinvasive surgery and adolescent gynecology. The Section runs aComplexFamily Planning fellowship and OB/GYN residentsrotate through Complex Family Planning. Faculty and traineescontribute to our research mission.
Prior to the start of employment qualified applicants must:1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois3) be board eligible or board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology4) have completed an ACGME-accredited residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology and5) have completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Complex Family Planning.
