P&C Wholesale Broker
Job Summary
Seeking a motivated and experienced Property & Casualty (P&C) Wholesale Broker to join a growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an inside broker at a large wholesale firm looking to advance their career or for a seasoned producer with an existing book of business. The successful candidate will work closely with retail agents and top carriers to place complex and hard-to-place risks across a wide range of P&C products.
Compensation Package
- For brokers with 2 years of experience: Competitive base salary with a two-year draw/salary guarantee plus commission.
- For highly experienced brokers with an established book: Option to go straight commission with a negotiated guarantee.
- Comprehensive benefits package including health dental vision and 401(k).
- Long-term growth and earning potential within a rapidly expanding organization.
Responsibilities
- Market negotiate and place Property & Casualty risks.
- Collaborate with retail agents to structure coverage and provide market guidance.
- Evaluate submissions and identify appropriate markets and pricing strategies.
- Manage the placement process from submission through binding.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with carrier underwriters and retail partners.
- Monitor market trends carrier appetites and emerging risks.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
- Work with internal teams to support growth and expansion initiatives.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a P&C broker (inside broker experience at a major wholesale firm is strongly preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of commercial P&C lines including General Liability Property Excess and Professional Lines.
- Strong communication negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple submissions in a fast-paced environment.
- Active Property & Casualty license.
