Job Summary

Develop and manage procurement plans aligned with site project timelines and operational needs.
Source evaluate and select qualified suppliers and vendors based on cost quality delivery and reliability.
Negotiate favorable terms pricing and contract conditions to ensure cost efficiency and value for money.
Prepare and issue purchase orders track deliveries and follow up on outstanding items to ensure on-time receipt.
Maintain accurate procurement records vendor databases and compliance documentation.
Collaborate with site managers project supervisors and finance teams to align procurement activities with project requirements.
Monitor market trends and supply availability to anticipate potential disruptions and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensure adherence to company procurement policies safety standards and regulatory compliance.
Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and manage supplier relationships to drive continuous improvement.
Support inventory management by providing timely procurement inputs and minimizing stockouts or overstocking.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management Procurement or a related field.
510 years of progressive experience in procurement purchasing or supply chain administration preferably in construction industrial or infrastructure projects.
Proven experience in managing site-level procurement activities and working within a project-based environment.
Strong negotiation communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across departments.
Proficiency in procurement software ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices contract management and compliance standards.
Ability to work independently manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Local knowledge of Vadodara and surrounding regions with established vendor networks is highly advantageous.
Experience with local vendor regulations GST compliance and documentation requirements in India.
