Job Summary

An experienced well-presented live-in housekeeper is sought for a large property in Berkshire that is only occupied part of the year. Working alongside another housekeeper you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of housekeeping including daily cleaning care of fine furnishings and full laundry duties such as washing and ironing. Cooking would be a bonus but not essential.

The employer travels extensively and is in residence only a few weeks per year; during these periods additional hours will be required with time off in lieu provided.

The position is 6 days a week ideally 8am4pm when the property is unoccupied with extended hours when the family are in residence.

The successful candidate will be a reliable dog-friendly team player (the household has a chihuahua) who takes pride in presentation and discretion.

The salary is 45k gross per annum negotiable depending on experience.

Accommodation is provided in the form of a private bedroom and bathroom within the property with use of a kitchen and sitting area (Utilities and food included).

Role to commence as soon as the right candidate is found.
