Job Summary

Bradley David Associates is seeking for a leading logistics and freight-forwarding provide for an LCL Import Operator to join their team focusing on LCL consolidated import shipments. This role is ideal for a professional with some import experience who is eager to develop their skills and progress into managing consolidation operations.

Responsibilities:

Handle LCL consolidated import shipments from origin to final delivery
Assist with consolidation planning and learn end-to-end consolidation processes
Coordinate with overseas agents shipping lines and internal teams
Monitor shipment progress and update customers on status and timelines
Ensure accurate data entry and documentation within internal systems
Support customs clearance processes in collaboration with internal customs teams
Provide administrative and operational support to senior operators

Requirements

Skills Required:

Previous experience in import operations (LCL experience preferred)
Strong interest in learning and developing consolidation expertise
Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail
Confident and professional communication skills
Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced logistics environment
Willingness to learn take direction and grow within the role
Basic to strong IT skills and confidence learning new systems

Required Skills:

Skills & Experience Required: Proven experience in business development or commercial roles within the logistics or oil & gas industry. Solid understanding of project logistics freight forwarding and supply chain operations particularly in energy or industrial sectors. Strong experience in client engagement contract negotiation and solution selling. Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Logistics Engineering or a related field.
