Two-Shift Rotation (06:00 14:00 / 14:00 22:00)
Competitive rate of pay starting at 14.57 per hour and increasing to 15.40 after full training. Overtime will be paid at time and a half (21.85 / 23.10) and Sundays are double rate (29.14 / 30.80).
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate high speed production machinery monitoring equipment performance and ensuring its safety and efficiency.
- Complete all documentation and quality checks accurately.
- Follow food safety hygiene health and safety and quality standards at all times.
- Monitor auto-coding systems to ensure accurate product labelling and traceability.
- Take ownership of line efficiency escalating recurring issues to reduce downtime.
- Reporting any quality hygiene or other issues to an Area Leader promptly to minimise downtime and uphold quality standards.
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet customer and regulatory expectations.
- Working effectively as part of a production team to ensure optimum results.
- Lead and coordinate team rotations to ensure optimal staffing and work flow.
Requirements
What we need from you:
Previous machine operator experience is essential
Previous food production experience is an advantage but not essential
Leadership ability and confidence to take responsibility of your production line
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Effective communication skills and willingness to work as a team
Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
A safety-conscious mindset with commitment to following all safety guidelines
