We are looking for Production Machine Operatives to join our growing team in Kirkham on a Two-Shift Rotation (06:00 14:00 / 14:00 22:00). Competitive rate of pay starting at 14.57 per hour and increasing to 15.40 after full training. Overtime will be paid at time and a half (21.85 / 23.10) and Sundays are double rate (29.14 / 30.80).
Requirements
Our Production Machine Operators work on fast paced automated lines ensuring they are set up maintained and operated effectively contributing to the delivery of safe high-standard food products. They will complete daily hygiene operations as well as be required to complete a full chemical clean down on alternating Saturdays. Responsibility:
Operate high speed production machinery monitoring equipment performance and ensuring its safety and efficiency.
Complete all documentation and quality checks accurately.
Follow food safety hygiene health and safety and quality standards at all times.
Monitor auto-coding systems to ensure accurate product labelling and traceability.
Ambition:
Take ownership of line efficiency escalating recurring issues to reduce downtime.
Passion for Food:
Reporting any quality hygiene or other issues to an Area Leader promptly to minimise downtime and uphold quality standards.
Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet customer and regulatory expectations.
Teamwork:
Working effectively as part of a production team to ensure optimum results.
Lead and coordinate team rotations to ensure optimal staffing and work flow.
