Bradley David Associates is seeking for a leading logistics and freight-forwarding provide for a Junior Internal Sales Executive Imports to join their team. This is an entry-level opportunity ideal for someone without prior freight experience who has a positive attitude strong communication skills and the drive to learn the fundamentals of the freight-forwarding industry.
You will be trained from the ground up learning how import freight is quoted sold and managed while supporting the internal sales and operations teams.
Responsibilities:
Support the internal sales team with import freight enquiries
Prepare and issue import quotations under guidance from senior team members
Build relationships with customers and respond to pricing and service requests
Liaise with operations and overseas agents to obtain rates and service options
Maintain accurate records within internal systems and CRM platforms
Learn freight terminology processes and industry best practices
Provide general administrative support to the imports and sales teams
Requirements
Skills Required:
Strong communication skills with a confident and professional manner
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Commercial awareness or interest in sales and logistics
Ability to work well within a team and take direction
Resilient motivated and eager to build a long-term career in freight
Basic IT skills and confidence using email and internal systems
Required Skills:
Skills & Experience Required: Proven experience in business development or commercial roles within the logistics or oil & gas industry. Solid understanding of project logistics freight forwarding and supply chain operations particularly in energy or industrial sectors. Strong experience in client engagement contract negotiation and solution selling. Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Logistics Engineering or a related field.
