Job Summary
Sky Heating AC Plumbing & Electrical is looking for an experienced and motivated Residential HVAC Service Manager to join our team in the Portland Metro Area. With a longstanding presence in the community were proud to serve homeowners with a focus on quality integrity and teamwork.
This leadership position plays a key role in overseeing the performance growth and day-to-day operations of our residential HVAC service department. Were looking for someone who enjoys leading people improving processes and building a supportive environment where technicians can succeed and customers receive top-tier service.
What Youll Do:
- Lead and support the residential HVAC service team with a focus on customer service employee development and operational efficiency.
- Monitor individual and team performance provide feedback and implement improvement plans as needed.
- Oversee ongoing technical training to ensure product knowledge and workmanship are consistently met or exceeded.
- Facilitate weekly team meetings to review performance metrics reinforce expectations and promote a positive safety-conscious culture.
- Collaborate with dispatch warehouse and customer service teams to ensure smooth daily operations and prompt service delivery.
- Manage scheduling staffing levels and workload distribution to meet seasonal demand and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Track departmental KPIs and identify areas for continuous improvement.

What You Bring:
- 5 years in a supervisory or management role in the trade industry.
- Strong understanding of residential HVAC systems.
- Proven ability to mentor and lead service technicians while fostering a positive team culture.
- Familiarity with ServiceTitan or similar field service software.
- Excellent communication time management and organizational skills.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass background and drug screening.
