Roles & Responsibilities Manager mentioned they need someone with advanced planning experience written planning (Possibly continuity of government plans)Open to new graduates with Emergency Management DegreeVery organized personWorking within the Plans Branch and with the guidance of the Plans Branch Manager this role assumes the responsibility of leading projects related to the State Hazard Mitigation Plan and local and Tribal Hazard Mitigation involves tackling challenging tasks in collaboration with a team of professional plannersThe role includes facilitating meetings with stakeholders and coordinating various activities to ensure the timely completion of annual updates to the State Hazard Mitigation Plan and local and Tribal Hazard Mitigation the position involves staying informed about federal policies directives goals and frameworks to assess their impact on essential emergency management planning it entails engaging with a diverse spectrum of entities including federal state local county Tribal non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and private sector stakeholders as needed. Required Skills2 Years of Experience as a high-level planner (Government experience experience with Written Plans SOPs) Preferred SkillsProfessional Communication SkillsKnowledge of Federal Policies directives goals and frameworks to assess their impact on essential emergency management planning documentationDegree in Emergency ManagementExperience with Emergency Planning Candidates must be eligible to convert to an FTE.
