Job Summary
RSCS/MRC is a Full-Service Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration Construction and Service company servicing 10 states across the western USA and in business for over 25 years. We are seeking a highly skilled and dependable Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician to join our team. This is not an entry-level position only candidates with 35 years of hands-on experience in commercial low-temp rack refrigeration will be considered. This position IS NOT for a technician skilled only in HVAC - if you are limited to air conditioning experience please DO NOT apply.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
Minimum 35 years of hands-on commercial low-temp rack refrigeration experience.
Proficient in:
- Leak Detection
- Motor alignment and replacement
- Diagnostics of electrical systems and controls
- Ability to diagnose and service across multiple brands of equipment and control systems
- Understanding and experience with supermarket refrigeration systems at low temperatures
Capable of:
- Working independently in client facilities
- Troubleshooting and repairing equipment when operators cannot
- Performing start-ups of refrigeration systems
Ideal Candidate Qualities:
Experienced in both commercial and industrial refrigeration
Demonstrates excellent customer service and client relations
Demonstrates excellent customer service and client relations
- Self-motivated hands-on and a self-starter
- Well-organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable with short term travel and participating in an on-call rotation
- Must have a clean driving record and clear criminal background for military base access
