POSITION SUMMARY

Watkins believes technology should empower people. We protect people support businesses and create space for our team to do their best work. We are hiring a Systems Administrator I to join our IT department and help us keep our systems secure reliable and ready for the work our teams do every day.

In this role you support the agencys technology environment so employees can stay productive and clients receive the service were known for. Youll work closely with staff vendors and the IT Manager to solve problems maintain systems and make technology easier for the people we serve.

WHAT YOULL DO
Keep people working: Resolve issues quickly so employees stay productive with minimal downtime.
Safeguard our systems: Maintain Microsoft 365 and Windows systems to keep them secure stable and running smoothly.
Equip the team: Configure and deploy workstations and hardware so employees have the tools they need on day one.
Protect access: Manage user accounts and permissions to support secure onboarding transitions and daily operations.
Stay ahead of disruption: Monitor system performance and security escalating risks early to prevent outages or data exposure.

WHAT YOU BRING

Associate degree in computer science information technology or equivalent experience
3 years of experience in system administration or IT support
Proficiency with Windows OS Microsoft 365 and network infrastructure
Experience installing configuring and troubleshooting hardware and software
Ability to work onsite with reliable transportation between work locations

Preferred

Applied Epic or NinjaOne software experience
Familiarity with scripting or automation tools (such as PowerShell)
CompTIA or Microsoft certifications
