About the role Mō te tūranga mahi

As our Governance Advisor youll be part of a high performing team responsible for providing executive and secretariat support governance advice and services across ACC.

This role sits at the centre of how our Executive and Board operate coordinating key governance processes supporting meetings maintaining governance systems and ensuring the delivery of trusted accurate and timely information.

You will work across the Governance team and wider ACC to uplift governance practice maintain our governance frameworks and policies and enable bestpractice decision making.

This is a 12 month fixed term opportunity located in Wellington.

About youMōu

  • Experience providing governance advice or secretariat support to Boards or Executive teams in a government or corporate environment.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification (legal executive or law degree desirable but not required).
  • Strong understanding of governance systems delegation frameworks and compliance processes.
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to translate complex content into concise clear advice.
  • Outstanding organisational skills able to prioritise and deliver in a fast paced environment.
  • Relationshipfocused with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proactive and willing to provide support where necessary.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office including expert document creation and strong spreadsheet and presentation capability.

The appointing salary for this role will sit between $77502 and $94724 and we offer an additional 9% superannuation contribution. ACC offer a comprehensive benefits package which at present includes an advantageous superannuation scheme with features like 0% contribution required by you optional life and income protection insurance and the flexibility to change to a locked plan at any time ensuring your financial security now and in retirement.
