Responsibilities

Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the patients health or the situation.
Analyzes the assessment data to determine the diagnoses or issues.
Identifies realistic and measurable outcomes which are complimentary to medical plan of care and centered on the patients and familys/significant others needs and appropriate practice guidelines.
Collaborates with co-workers physician other disciplines patient and family to develop individualized plan of care to address patient diagnoses or issues that attains patient outcomes.
Coordinates care delivery - Assumes responsibility for assigning and coordinating patient care with ancillary personnel consistent with patient needs staff competencies and licensure.
Evaluates progress towards attainment of outcomes.
Systematically evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice.
Attains knowledge and competency that reflects current nursing practice.
Integrates ethical provisions in all areas of practice.
Provides care consistent with the Code of Ethics for Nurses
Interacts with and contributes to the professional development of peers and colleagues.
Collaborates with patient family and others in the conduct of nursing practice
Collaborates with other health professionals and the public in promoting community national and international efforts to meet health needs.

Qualifications

Education: Must be a graduate of accredited School of Nursing.

License(s)/Certification(s):

Current Registered Professional Nurse licensure in the State of Illinois.

Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in Illinois

Oncology Certification preferred.

Current CPR Certification.

Valid drivers license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
