In this role you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive family medicine services diagnosing and treating a range of medical conditions and collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare team members. This position is essential in ensuring that we continue to uphold our commitment to high-quality care and patient satisfaction in our medical practice.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses
- Develop and implement patient care plans
- Perform routine physical exams and preventive health screenings
- Prescribe medications and provide patient education
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Participate in continuing education and training programs
Requirements
- Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
- Experience in Family Medicine or primary care setting
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p
Setting: Outpatient
Patient Volume: 18-20 per day
Support Staff: Pediatrician and Internal Medicine MD
EMR: Athena
Must speak Vietnamese with a Gulf Coast dialect
Board certification required
Paid travel & expenses
