This company is an industrial automation and systems integration company that designs and builds custom machinery robotic systems conveyors and packaging equipment.

As a mechanical designer you will be responsible for designing and detailing custom automation equipment using SolidWorks including 3D models assemblies and fabrication drawings. You will collaborate with engineers and the build team to support projects from concept through manufacturing ensuring designs are functional manufacturable and meet industry standards.

This is a Temp-to-Perm position and will be required to be fully in-office.

Qualifications:

2 years of experience as a Mechanical Designer or similar role
Strong proficiency with SolidWorks (assemblies drawings configurations)
Experience with custom automation equipment including conveyors robotic cells packaging systems frames and machine components is a plus!
Ability to read and create manufacturing and fabrication drawings
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Willingness to travel
