Equipment Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking Mechanical Engineers to join our Equipment Consulting team. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial highly driven person with a well-rounded skill set and whose responsibilities extend beyond those of traditional Engineers. The ideal person for this role will need to not only have a strong grasp of Mechanical Engineering but also be flexible and a strategic thinker able to take on a variety of tasks.  

Job Responsibilities

• Inspect and evaluate damages to different types of mechanical and electronic systems such as machinery refrigeration systems furnaces conveyance systems elevators UPS boilers medical equipment laboratory equipment injection molding machinery industrial plants and a variety of other mechanical / industrial equipment.
• Conduct configuration audits.
• Analyze requirements and specifications to determine comparable equipment replacements.
• Provide research to determine costs associated with equipment replacement (i.e. new and used).
• Expected to produce 3 page written reports regularly.

Qualifications :

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Mechanical Engineering (BSME) with over 5 years of experience in engineering design analysis or applications
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Computer skills (including Word Excel and PowerPoint)
• A desire to learn excel and grow with us and within the profession
• Most be willing to travel sometimes at short notice but not for extended periods of time.

Physical and Mental Job Qualifications

• Must be able to sit for long period of time
• Must be able to travel to various project sites as needed.
• Prolonged periods of standing bending and kneeling.
• Positive friendly attitude to everyone.
• Must be comfortable to work in a remote and/or hybrid environment
• Must be flexible to work outside of the 8:30am 5:30pm business hours if needed
• Must be flexible to travel

A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $95000 - $125000. Any offered salary range is based on a wide array of factors including but not limited to skillset experience training location scope of role management responsibility etc.
