Medical Science Liaison (MSL) Nemolizumab
Location: Mexico (nationwide coverage; frequent travel)
Role Purpose
The MSL will play a pivotal role in the prelaunch & launch phase of Nemolizumab in Mexico building scientific credibility strengthening expert networks and ensuring the dissemination of accurate balanced and up-to-date medical information. This role will focus on KOL/HCP mapping and engagement scientific presentations to key stakeholders (including government institutions) and cross-functional collaboration to Bring Science to Life for Galdermas integrated dermatology portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
External Engagement & Scientific Exchange
- Develop and maintain professional trust-based relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) HCPs academic centers and relevant institutions to ensure access to current medical and scientific information in immunodermatology and related therapeutic areas.
- Identify map segment and engage local regional and national experts via internally approved field engagement plans capturing and sharing high-quality scientific insights.
- Deliver scientific presentations to societies academic bodies and government institutions aligned with medical strategy and compliance requirements.
- Act as a scientific ambassador for Nemolizumab and Galdermas integrated dermatology portfolio with internal and external audiences.
- Train external speakers on scientific content
- Respond to medical information requests ensuring timely accurate non-promotional and evidence-based communication.
- Attend relevant congresses and scientific meetings; gather and generate actionable insights by interacting with external stakeholders monitoring scientific literature following influencers on digital platforms preparing summaries and presenting key perspectives to internal teams including competitor intelligence.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Provide scientific support to the field sales force through non-promotional training education presentations and ongoing partnership addressing immediate scientific needs.
- Collaborate with Access Regulatory Clinical Development Pharmacovigilance and Commercial teams to align scientific messaging support strategic planning and ensure compliant execution.
- Monitor the scientific and regulatory environment in Mexico to identify opportunities risks and unmet needs relevant to Nemolizumabs prelaunch and launch phases.
Research & Evidence Generation
- Support Galdermas research by identifying potential investigators conducting scientific exchange and providing feedback and insights.
- Facilitate investigator identification site feasibility discussions and the collection of real-world insights that inform study design and evidence generation strategies.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure all interactions adhere to local regulations internal policies and industry codes (non-promotional standards fair balance scientific accuracy and ethical conduct).
- Maintain rigorous documentation and reporting of field activities insights and training using approved systems and digital platforms.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelors degree in a health-related field
- Completed postgraduate studies (Masters/Doctorate or Clinical Medical Specialty) preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years in Medical Affairs or MSL roles within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
- Dermatology/Immunology/Immunobiologics experience is highly desirable.
- Prior experience engaging with government institutions societies and academic centers is a plus.
- Proven track record in KOL/HCP mapping scientific presentations and insight generation.
Skills & Competencies
- Possess advanced scientific knowledge in Immunodermatology or demonstrate strong ability and willingness to rapidly acquire and apply new scientific knowledge with the capability to clearly communicate complex data to diverse audiences.
- Strong relationship-building and influencing without authority; credible scientific presence.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal).
