We are seeking a high-impact Senior Financial Analyst to take ownership of budgets and forecasts. This role requires more than just running reportswe need a strategic thinker who can interpret complex financial data articulate the story behind the results and provide the precise analysis that guides smart informed decisions across corporate and location-level financial planning. In this role you will:
Build and maintain corporate and location-level budgets and forecasts including annual budgets and ongoing monthly or quarterly updates.
Compare budgeted and forecasted results to actuals and clearly explain variances.
Analyze financial performance and operating metrics across multiple rental locations.
Prepare monthly management reporting packages used by leadership.
Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects tied to expense trends performance gaps and business initiatives.
Create and enhance business intelligence and ERP-based reporting.
Track capital expenditures and monitor actual spend against approved plans including ROI analysis.
Partner with internal teams to ensure financial data is accurate timely and useful.
Qualification:
A solid track record of building budgets and forecasts and standing behind your numbers.
Experience comparing the plan to actual results and clearly explaining what changed and why.
Comfort working with data from multiple locations and understanding how local performance rolls up to the bigger picture.
The ability to spot trends ask the right follow-up questions and flag issues before they become bigger problems.
Confidence working directly with leadership and operational partners to support business decisions.
Strong attention to detail without losing sight of deadlines or priorities.
A practical business-minded approach to financial analysis focused on accuracy clarity and usefulness.
Education:
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Economics or a related field or equivalent experience.
Requirements:
Three to five years of experience in financial analysis FP and A corporate finance or accounting.
Hands-on experience with budgeting forecasting and variance analysis.
Strong Excel skills including financial modeling and data analysis.
Experience working with ERP systems and reporting or business intelligence tools.
Ability to turn financial data into clear actionable insights for non-finance partners.
Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities at once.
Detail-oriented dependable and trusted with sensitive financial information.
Car rental or transportation industry experience is a plus but not required.
