Senior Speech Pathologist

The ORS Speech Pathology team is expanding and we are seeking our next clinician to join us! You will join a national team of 60 Speech Pathologists in our NDIS division

You will work with an amazing group of clients with varying complexity communication and swallowing needs over a period of months or even years. You will play an integral part in your clients personal growth and development working together to meet their goals. You will form a close bond with your clients and celebrate their achievements together every step of the way.

The type of assessments and interventions you will provide will include:

• Communication Assessments
• Swallowing and Paediatric Feeding (Dysphagia) Assessments
• Mealtime Management Plan development and reviews
• Augmentative and Alternative Communication Assessments
• Ongoing therapy

You will work across various environments including family homes disability group homes day programs schools preschools community settings telehealth and ORS offices.

You will have access to administration and IT support high quality and validated Speech Pathology assessment tools online resource subscriptions internal and external professional development opportunities the opportunity for clinical specialisation as well as career progression.

Learning and Development

You will be able to connect with them in one on one and group training sessions plus have the ability to email or pick up the phone at any time to ask their advice on complex cases. This resource is in addition to the many Managers and Team Leaders we have on staff!

A few requirements:

• Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology
• Registration or ability to become registered with SPA
• A car and licence
• A National Police Clearance Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or able to acquire one for client facing roles (or willingness to obtain one before commencement)
