SUMMARY

The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating a variety of equipment in our fabrication shop.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

Select correct machine settings for optimal processing operations.
Measure materials to ensure conformance with design specifications.
Select appropriate material type stock size and dimensions as required.
Keep a clean organized and safe work area.
Keep and manage an accurate record of daily operations and materials usage.

REQUIREMENTS

Skilled in interpreting CAD drawings symbols and notes.
Ability to read tape measure to within 1/16.
Ability to stand for a prolonged period of time.
Possess attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Must be reliable punctual and exhibit a strong work ethic.
Must demonstrate professionalism and uphold our core values of being customer-centric and problem solvers.
Experience with CNC machines is preferred.
Experience with operating overhead crane is preferred.
