SUMMARY
The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating a variety of equipment in our fabrication shop.
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Select correct machine settings for optimal processing operations.
- Measure materials to ensure conformance with design specifications.
- Select appropriate material type stock size and dimensions as required.
- Keep a clean organized and safe work area.
- Keep and manage an accurate record of daily operations and materials usage.
REQUIREMENTS
- Skilled in interpreting CAD drawings symbols and notes.
- Ability to read tape measure to within 1/16.
- Ability to stand for a prolonged period of time.
- Possess attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must be reliable punctual and exhibit a strong work ethic.
- Must demonstrate professionalism and uphold our core values of being customer-centric and problem solvers.
- Experience with CNC machines is preferred.
- Experience with operating overhead crane is preferred.
