Role specifics and benefits: As the IR RN youll perform critical preprocedure assessments establish reliable IV access monitor vital signs and assist physicians during angiography embolization stent placements and other imagingguided interventions. Youll ensure sterile technique manage conscious sedation or monitored anesthesia care under supervision and coordinate with nursing radiology and anesthesia teams to optimize patient safety. Postprocedure care patient education and discharge planning will complete the patient journey. This role offers clear pathways for professional growth within interventional radiology including crosstraining in vascular interventions advanced hemodynamic monitoring and participation in quality improvement initiatives.
