Position Summary
As the Senior Brand Manager - Oncology you will be responsible for leading the strategic direction and execution of brand marketing activities across multiple products. This role involves leading and mentoring brand teams to ensure effective brand positioning and performance in the marketplace while maintaining compliance with industry standards. The incumbent will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated marketing solutions that align with the companys goals.
Additionally this role offers an exciting cross-border scope providing the opportunity to oversee marketing efforts. You will ensure consistent management of therapeutic areas building brand presence and effectively adapting strategies across diverse regional markets.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Brand Leadership
- Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Oversee multiple products and therapeutic areas ensuring alignment with overall marketing goals.
- Lead the brand team in executing global marketing strategies and adapting to market trends.
Business and Financial Management
- Manage the financial performance of the brand including budgeting forecasting and P&L responsibilities.
- Analyze market dynamics and financial trends to inform strategic decision-making.
- Optimize the marketing mix to enhance brand performance and market share.
Team Development and Leadership
- Provide leadership and coaching to brand team members fostering professional growth and skill development.
- Drive a high-performance culture by setting clear goals and monitoring progress.
- Cultivate a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and creativity.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Lead stakeholder alignment efforts to support brand initiatives and exceed shared goals.
- Effectively communicate brand strategies and results to senior leaders.
Market Insight and Evaluation:
- Gather and synthesize market and customer insights to inform brand strategy.
- Continuously evaluate competitive positioning and identify opportunities for brand differentiation.
- Lead the development of compelling brand stories that resonate with target audiences.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in marketing business or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience (at least 3-5 years) in brand management within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry (prior experience in Oncology is required).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple products/brands and lead cross-functional teams.
- Strong strategic thinking analytical and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and drive alignment.
- Mastery-level competencies in business and financial acumen customer strategy and effective storytelling.
- Experience working within a global organization and adapting strategies to local markets.
