Change and Adoption Consultant ( 5 month contract)

As a Change and Adoption Consultant at NCS Australia you will play a pivotal role in a high-priority client-facing strategic initiative. This project involves the complex migration of critical applications from legacy on-premises infrastructure to a modern secure ICT cloud environment. Your primary focus will be managing the human and operational impact of replacing outdated Managed File Transfer (MFT) and identity management systems with a sophisticated user-centric Data Submission Portal and updated identity protocols. You will serve as the essential link between the technical project team and the diverse end-user community ensuring that new technology is not just deployed but truly embraced.

Working within a dynamic client environment you will be responsible for navigating the complexities of business process redesign. With the portal development nearing completion your role will shift toward ensuring organizational readiness. This involves mapping end-user journeys executing a structured communication plan and transitioning support functions from business units to centralized corporate services. You will be tasked with ensuring that the transition is seamless minimizing operational risk while maximizing the efficiency and value of the new digital ecosystem.

In this role you arent just delivering a system; you are delivering a better user experience. You will produce tailored user guides develop comprehensive training programs and provide hands-on post-implementation support. By translating technical milestones into tangible business benefits you will empower stakeholders across the organizationregardless of their IT literacyto navigate the new system with confidence. Your work will directly contribute to a more secure scalable and user-friendly digital workplace for our client.

Qualifications :

• Change Management Expert: You possess a deep understanding of OCM methodologies and a proven track record in preparing and executing change and adoption strategies that address shifts in technology job roles and organisational structures.

• Strategic & Technical Communicator: You are an expert at crafting resonant communication plans and have the unique ability to translate complex technical conceptssuch as cloud migration and identity managementinto clear plain language for non-technical users.

• Dynamic Facilitator: You are highly confident in client-facing environments with the ability to lead engagement sessions and facilitate workshops for large diverse audiences while adapting your style to ensure all stakeholders feel supported.

• Analytical Problem Solver: You have a sharp eye for detail and extensive experience in business process mapping allowing you to identify friction points during transitions and propose practical effective business solutions.

• End-to-End Content Creator: You have advanced experience developing high-quality user artifacts including training aids user guides and how-to documentation designed to bridge the gap between technical delivery and long-term adoption.

• Versatile & Culturally Aware Collaborator: You thrive in environments with varying degrees of IT literacy and exhibit high cultural awareness ensuring that documentation and support workflows are tailored to meet the specific needs of diverse end-user groups.

• Proven Implementation Specialist: You bring a background in large-scale system roll-outs including experience with change readiness assessments user migration and providing dedicated post-implementation hypercare support.

• Working knowledge of identity management concepts or data portal transitions is highly desirable.
