About the Role
As a Salesforce Developer at HBF youll play a key role in designing building and maintaining innovative solutions within the Salesforce platform to support our Member Platforms division. Working closely with Product Owners Business Analysts and Architects youll translate business requirements into technical solutions that deliver exceptional user experiences and align with best practices. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the evolution of our Salesforce ecosystem and make a real impact on how we serve our members.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

• Interpreting user stories and translating them into clear technical requirements and designs.
• Developing and testing high-quality Salesforce solutions using both declarative and programmatic approaches.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet business and technical needs.
• Participating in peer reviews identify risks and resolving defects to maintain system integrity.
• Supporting deployments troubleshooting production issues and providing on-call assistance as required.
• Continuously improving processes methodologies and your own Salesforce knowledge to drive innovation.

This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity and is open to applicants based anywhere in Australia.

About You
Youre a skilled Salesforce Developer with a passion for creating robust user-focused solutions. You thrive in collaborative environments have a strong technical foundation and enjoy solving complex problems with innovative approaches. Your ability to balance technical excellence with business needs makes you a trusted partner in delivering impactful outcomes.

Ideally you will have:

• Proven experience developing solutions within the Salesforce platform including Apex LWC SOQL and declarative tools.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce data structures security model and advanced features such as Flows and Validation Rules.
• Hands-on experience with web technologies (JavaScript HTML5 CSS) and Salesforce Lightning Web Components.
• Ability to design and implement integrations with external systems using web services and AppExchange apps.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA BitBucket and SFDX.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication abilities to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
