Team Leader - Thrive Project (Maternity Cover)



Location:Bradmarsh

Salary:30104 per annum then yearly increments up to 32317

Contract Type:Full-time Temporary - 9 months


About the Role

Were looking for an experienced and compassionate Team Leader to join our dedicated team in Sheffield.


Working closely with our Service Manager you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Thrive Service. As a visible and proactive Team Leader you will help to create a supportive and empowering environment for staff and our service users alike.


The successful candidate will have experience in working with people with severe multiple disadvantage including offending history diagnosed mental health conditions adverse childhood experiences and domestic abuse. You will have a broad understanding of both support and housing pathways alongside psychological interventions. Above all we are looking for an empathic person-centred and understanding individual to support and help lead team.


General tasks


  • Facilitating continual professional development through an intensive training program.
  • Lead and Participate in team meetings
  • Line manage staff team
  • Have oversight of complex cases and mentor staff team
  • Perform other such duties as may be required to further aims of Target Housing within the Health and Safety requirements.
  • Adhere to all of Target Housings policies and procedures in particular our Equal Opportunities Confidentiality and Health and Safety policies.
  • Carry out other such duties as directed by senior managers as appropriate to the aims of Target Housing.


Requirements


  • An individual who embraces challenges enthusiastically
  • An understand of the principles of Psychologically Informed Environments and Trauma Informed Practice
  • At least 3 years experience of supporting people with multiple complex needs
  • Experience of the housing/homelessness sector
  • Extensive knowledge of safeguarding and risk management
  • Experience of writing reports
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Previous management experience preferred
