POSITION SUMMARY

The Regional Truck Driver is a hybrid Over the Road (OTR) and local driving position. This position will be responsible for completing deliveries out of state picking up materials regionally and shuttling equipment/supplies between facilities as needed.

CORE FUNCTIONS

Over the road (OTR) Deliveries regionally and/or locally (requires overnight stay)
Transfer product between facilities locally
Pick up/transfer manufacturing supplies regionally/locally

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience

High school diploma required.

Required Licenses

Class A CDL is required.

Skills Abilities and Knowledge

Knowledge of elogs/tablet usage.

Write speak and comprehend English.

Ability to understand basic math.

Ability to accurately follow instructions.

Travel

Frequent travel is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position is subject to Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Visual Acuity

The worker is required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment.

Working Conditions

The worker is subject to inside and outside environmental conditions within manufacturing facilities and is subject to hazardous road conditions/weather when driving.
