Job Description
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Driver Patrols in Doylestown PA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more. Learn more: As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a higher education location you will conduct routine patrols across campus areas stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents and support students staff and visitors with strong customer service and clear communication. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to students faculty staff and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an education location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of academic buildings residence areas parking areas and perimeter spaces to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor check-in identification verification and directing guests to appropriate locations in accordance with site requirements.
- Respond to incidents alarms and calls for assistance in a calm problem-solving manner; coordinate with campus staff and/or local responders as needed.
- Document observations incidents and patrol activity in written reports and/or electronic logs; communicate noteworthy information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
