Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Response Driver in Polkton NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal at a government location supporting corrections operations as an armed driving patrol officer. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and respond to calls for assistance with clear communication and strong customer a role built on integrity and teamwork you will use an agile reliable approach to support daily operations while putting people first.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to location staff and visitors by carrying out post orders site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including reporting and documenting security-related concerns per policy.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter checkpoints to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Control access by monitoring entry and exit points verifying credentials as required and/or screening for prohibited items in accordance with site procedures.
- Maintain a visible presence communicate with site personnel and emergency services as needed and complete required logs reports and shift briefings.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
- A valid firearms permit is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
