Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our manufacturing team. This pivotal role requires a proficient professional to oversee financial transactions ensure accuracy in financial reporting and support our manufacturing operations. Position Summary:
Process control and reconcile various functions that fall under the realm of accounting and inventory.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cash receipts
- Collections and credit
- Quarterly sales and use tax
- Assist with annual plan process including sales and operational planning operating budgets and updating labor and overhead rates
- Responsible for providing various financial reports which accurately calculate and reconcile reserves cost allocations etc.
- Assist with annual financial audits
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Prepare account balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare reports detailing monthly expenses by cost center
- Assist in other financial functions as needed.
Skills:
- Detail oriented ability to work in team environment
- Ability to multi-task efficiently
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
Education and Experience:
- BS Degree in Accounting
- 0-4 years experience in an accounting role
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Excel
- Experience with an ERP operating system preferred. Oracle preferred
