We are seeking an IT Systems Administrator Student for our Winnipeg District within our Canadian Buildings Division that is available for 4 months starting in May 2026.
Heres how an IT Systems Administrator Studentfor our Winnipegoffice contributes to our team:
Responsibilities
- Logging IT related support calls
- Assisting in the maintenance of the IT work areas
- Providing basic network hardware and software troubleshooting
- Handling equipment audits & shipments
- Creating documentation
- Setting up new users printers and workstations both in district office and various site locations
- Attending weekly team meetings
- Assisting in a variety of other customer service & systems related tasks as required
Qualifications
What you will bring to the role:
- Proficient knowledge of computers (Microsoft office basic hardware support)
- Strong problem-solving skills with an appreciation for detail and accuracy
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Ability to evaluate and integrate technology as it relates to the needs of the business
- Ability to read basic network drawings
- Basic hardware and networking skills
